What is New Build Home Buy (Shared Ownership)?

Home Buy is a government led initiative to help people who can not afford to buy a home outright, purchase their own home. You will buy a share of the property and the government will have the other share. You will be able to buy back parts of that share (staircasing). The government will charge you rent on the share they own. There are many Home Buy Schemes and you need to read through the documentation provided by the scheme handlers.
