My Mortgage

Choosing your Adviser……

Before choosing your mortgage you should consider taking advice from a professional independent adviser registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). FCA regulated advisers have an obligation to provide the most suitable advice and recommendation on residential mortgages. If you are taking out an investment mortgage the FCA do not regulate the Buy to Let market place however, it is expected that an advisor follows a code of conduct to protect the consumer.

Your Adviser should tell you……

Your adviser will tell you about all the costs and fees relating to your purchase before completing the application form to the lender. A good adviser will tell you what you need to pay for other costs relating to the property such as building insurance, maintenance costs and all possible related mortgage costs. They will also run through the mortgage illustration with you and explain what will happen to your costs if interest rates were to rise and if you were to redeem your mortgage.

Do you think I can afford it?…..

Your adviser will go through a clearly defined budget planner with you and factor in all daily living costs so that you will proceed with knowledge and confidence that you can afford to buy your new home.

Where do I do next?…….

Once you have decided to proceed we will take over all the processing of your mortgage and liaise with all connected parties taking the burden away from you right up until completion.
